My Life
I was born in Queens, New York. Growing up, I didn't ever leave the city. My world was very small. But I had fun in my neighborhood. At school I studied, but not hard. The only subjects I really liked were gym and music. I played outside with my friends all the time. Baseball, stickball, handball. I was a soloist bugler in a drum & bugle corps and I played trumpet in my high school's Big Band. As a kid, I also drew silly pictures with a simple number 2 pencil on scraps of paper. I still love music and I still draw. I also do a lot of writing and wondering about life. I write about the things I like, simple stories of friendship and love. My stories come from my childhood, my memories, and my travels. I do my best to make everything that I write true and honest and good, and in the hope that it will have meaning for others. At the risk of sounding immodest, I'm sincere, honest, and disciplined. I'm also very curious and a little adventurous. I don't pretend, blame others, or make excuses for my faults or shortcomings. I hold dear to my heart my friends, my family, and my faith. I believe in love, forgiveness, and goodness. I am a simple man with simple stories to tell.
