A Simple Writer
A Simple Writer
I was born in Queens, New York. I grew up in Ridgewood, what was then a close-knit, Irish, German, and Italian neighborhood. I didn't exactly excel at school, and as a late bloomer, I attended Albright College in Reading, PA, where I learned how to learn. I studied many things at Albright, but mostly history and religion, and it was there that I had my eyes opened to a great big world. After graduating, I traveled to Japan, where I taught English for five years in the lovely residential town of Yamato in the prefecture known as Kanagawa. After returning to the U.S., I studied creative writing at Gotham Writers Workshop in Manhattan, New York. Since then, I have been writing and telling stories. I write simple, honest stories about friendship and love.
